I am a recent graduate of the University of Louisville School of Law who has been involved in the legal community for nine years. While attending law school part-time, I worked full-time in the legal field, most recently as a law clerk with Weber & Rose where I had been offered a position following graduation from law school. By the time I graduated, I had worked three years as a law clerk, a summer internship for an appellate judge, four years as a paralegal/secretary and two years as a deputy clerk for the Court of Appeals in Kentucky.
When I took the Kentucky Bar Exam in July, 2011, I did not know at that time that my then-fiancé (now husband) would accept a promotion within his company which would require us to move to the Cleveland area. I have recently submitted my application for the Ohio Bar Exam, which I intend to take in February, 2012. However, by virtue of being licensed in Kentucky, I understand that I will be able to apply for a license pro hac vice once I have relocated to Ohio and until I have acquired my Ohio license.
